Koi for Sale- Wholesale

The Koi Farm is a wholesale provider of Nisei Koi, bred from high-quality Japanese parents.  We provide door-to-door courier delivery in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Your business is no longer dependent upon risky airline shipments from out-of-state or international locations, and their associated time-consuming airport pickups.

Koi are transported from the farm directly to your business location, by an employee of The Koi Farm. The koi are prepared for shipping in the morning (bagged, oxygenated, and boxed) and then manually and carefully loaded into a temperature-stable van. Delivery is made the same day. We do not leave shipping to chance. Delivery of healthy koi can and must be assured.  Our cost to you for this service is reasonable, because we are using our own employees, instead of that of a third party courier company.

THE KOI:

Our goal is to provide healthy, high-quality, beautiful koi that are affordable to both you and your customers.  Our koi were awarded the "Best American Bred" in Koi America 2005--enough said! 

Koi health is first and foremost to us.  Nisei Koi are tested for KHV and SVC on an ongoing basis.  The farm has a continuous clean health history since its beginning in 2002.  No koi from external sources will be mixed with our koi.

We are well prepared to provide a large varity of types, sizes, and quantities to meet your needs, when you need them (year round).  This year's breeding includes the following varieties:

• Kohaku
• Sanke
• Showa
• Asagi
• Shusui
• Kujaku
• Goshiki
• Yamabuki ogon
• Platinum ogon
• Hariwake
• Ochiba
• Utsuri

Gin rin and dotsu varieties are also available.  The variety provided in each size and box will vary with availability.  We will provide as many different and unusual types as we can to keep your customers coming back for more.  All have been through multiple culls.  We believe you will find the quality above grade from what you will find elsewhere.

Please call (800) 307-1052, or email us at info@thekoifarm.com to request a Wholesale Order Form which includes pricing.  We have chosen not to include wholesale pricing on our website to protect the privacy of proprietary information to those who need to know (you, the retailer).  When you call or email, include pertinent information about your business, ie, your company name, adress, and phone number, so we can establish your status as a business.  When ordering, we will also need a copy of your state resale license.

We have three grades of koi:

The Tategoi grade are the highest quality koi, and they are sold individiually at percentag off (please call) the retail price.

TERMS:

1. Orders must be paid in full at the time of placing the order.  We accept the following methods of payment:

Money Order / Cashier Check

1. In the unlikely event of loss during shipping, (see Responsibilities below), we will either reimburse, or replace with koi of equal value with your next shipment--your choice.
2. We cannot accept returns.  This policy is to safeguard the health of our koi shipped to customers, like you.
    

   SHIPPING:

• The cost for shipping the first box (full or partial)  is $90, and each additional box is $70.
• Shipments are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, excluding holidays.  In order to prepare the koi for shipping (fasting to minimize ammonia build-up), we request that you ideally place your order one week in advance.  This further assures the health of your koi on arrival.
• Delivery times will be planned for late morning through the end of the business day (5:00 PM), unless agreed upon otherwise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

It is The Koi Farm's responsibility to:

• Notify the customer on the day prior to shipment of the estimated delivery time.  It is also our repsonsibility to notify you of any traffic or weather conditions that may result in a delay greater than two hours on the day of delivery.
• Acquire the customer's signature at the time of delivery, thereby verifying that the correct order was received, and that the koi are in a healthy condition.

It is the Customer's responsibility, to:

• Provide the name of the person responsible for receiving the shipment as well as a primary and secondary (cell phone) number.
• Be present to receive and take responsibility of the shipment upon arrival.
• Verify that the order is correct at the time of delivery.
• Inspect the contents of each box (shared responsibility with our driver) to visually assure the health of the koi.
